Although the levels of Costa Rica tourism have risen steadily over the years, your vacation in Costa Rica can still be enjoyable as the place has not yet become "saturated" with tourists. Many of the most popular tourist spots throughout the world have become a little unpleasant because you simply can't move for tourists, and this is sad. But Costa Rica seems to accommodate its tourists with grace and aplomb.

Costa Rica Tourism Spots

You can still find plenty of spots that, while they are perfect for Costa Rica tourism, are still examples of pristine exotic beauty. In addition the people are very friendly. A stay in Costa Rica really can be the vacation of a lifetime if it's planned right. The variety of habitats, plant and tree species and wildlife is to be seen to be believed. A paradise for naturalists, this country also wows the rest of us, no matter how little we know about it.

There are many different kinds of Costa Rica tourism. Some come to see the volcanos. There a wide selection of volcanos to visit in Costa Rica; some of them are no longer active, some are still constantly active, but what they all have in common is the beauty, drama and even romance of their surroundings. Indeed, the volcano locations have become favorites with a staple of Costa Rica tourism, honeymooners.

Other people come for the pristine rain forest. The Corcovado National Park on the Oso Peninsula is home to the largest stretch of unspoiled rainforest still existing in Central America and is an important part of Costa Rica's conservation program. The remainder of Costa Rica's tourists come for the beaches and the diving, which rank high in the world order of venues for scuba diving.
