Romantic vacation getaways can come in many forms. Whether you are planning a simple weekend getaway or a longer, more adventurous trip, the important thing is doing something you can enjoy as a couple. It’s not romantic if you are going to a Nascar race and your wife hates Nascar. Likewise, your husband may or may not enjoy a weekend at a desert spa as much as you would. The best romantic getaways are to places you both will enjoy together.

Taking the time to go off and spend some quality time together away from the hectic pace of everyday life is a great idea. If you can spare the time and the money to visit an exotic location, it’s worth it. Exotic getaways create lasting memories you can share for years to come. Moreover, the more you can get away from your ordinary life, the better you will be able to focus on the romantic situation at hand.

Examples of Romantic Getaways

A great example of a romantic getaway would be to rent a villa on a beautiful beach somewhere you have never been. You can spend the days lazing around the beach in a swimsuit with your love. Nothing says romance like spending your days wearing as little as possible.

If the beach isn’t your thing, why not rent a cabin on a snowy mountain? You can ski by day and cuddle up next to a fire at night. Log cabins are particularly romantic, especially those with wood-burning fireplaces. Whatever your idea of a romantic getaway, don’t forget the object is to spend as much time together as possible.
