Aruba Family VacationWritten by Jessica Duquette Planning Your Aruba Family VacationAruba family vacation plans should accommodate every member of the family. Sure, mom likes to sunbathe and Dad plans on playing a round or two of golf, but what about the children? Aruba has plenty to do for everyone in the family. Preparing an itinerary beforehand will prove both time and cost-effective. The Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba has a population of only 94,000. Of this amount, there are more than 40 different nationalities that live and work in Aruba. Known as a "melting pot" Aruba offers a unique culture to millions of tourists each year. Water Sports & ActivitiesIf island excursions and mingling with the locals aren't on your schedule, consider taking part in any of the beach-front activities. Many resorts offer water sports and other excursions. For an hourly fee you could find yourself buzzing around the shoreline in a wave runner, or skimming the coral reef in search of tropical fish. If you choose to plan your Aruba family vacation at an all-inclusive resort, you'll never have to leave the confines of your hotel. Within the gates of the hotel you can sunbathe, enjoy water sports, swim in Olympic size swimming pools, dine on island fare or simply head to the spa for a massage and pedicure. If maneuvering around the island is one hassle you can't be bothered with, an inclusive resort is definitely the way to go.
