There are plenty of outdoor adventures in scenic Chattanooga, Tennessee, with plenty of nearby hotels and motels in which to stay. One of the most popular natural attractions in Chattanooga is Rock City, which is atop Lookout Mountain. At Rock City, one can explore ancient rock formations, caverns, and stunning mountain views along winding paths.

Rock City boasts several wonders, including a view that includes seven states in its scope and a 180-foot long suspension bridge. Area attractions include Ruby Falls and The Enchanted Maize, an eight-acre cornfield maze. The Incline Railway is also located here, taking passengers on a steep climb up Lookout Mountain.

The Bluff View Art District is another attraction located in a scenic outdoor setting. The area overlooks the Tennessee River and is known for its working artist studios and galleries. Visitors will also find a host of shopping and dining possibilities in the District, many of which are similar to European cafes and boutiques.

The Southern Belle Riverboat is another popular way to see the Tennessee River, offering daytime and dinner cruises, as well as packages for large groups and parties. Chattanooga offers many creative options for gathering spots, whether it be for weddings, business conferences, family reunions, or conventions. There are lots of hotels and motels available for these and other events, many available at group rates.
