When you're looking to have a grand old time and put your worries aside, I suggest checking out the Ft. Lauderdale scene. From sunup until sundown, you can find fun activities to fill your days and make your trip as memorable as possible. This is one town that doesn't believe in traditional sleeping hours. Oceans 11 South is a sports bar that is not only open until six in the morning, but serves food until that time as well!

Many restaurants, bars and clubs don't shut down until the early morning hours. What about daytime, though? Are there things to do during the day aside from just go the beach, shop and eat? Yes, if you hit the Ft. Lauderdale scene at just the right time, you could stumble upon one of their many festivals. Ft. Lauderdale is all about celebration whenever possible.

The Ft. Lauderdale Scene and Festivals

The Latin Fest is one of the greatest in Ft. Lauderdale. It is on the beach so you can tan and swim as you enjoy Latin music. Bring a blanket or a chair and a cooler with your favorite beverages. Kick back and relax. Many eateries also set up booths along the boardwalk for you to enjoy. Admission is free. It's all day and all night. In addition, there are some wonderful activities for kids to partake in.

If you are checking out the Ft. Lauderdale scene and you happen to find yourself walking among dancers in colorful costumes, you may have stumbled upon the Hispanic Fest. In addition to the dancers, you can do arts and crafts and children can enjoy many activities. The Irish Fest spans over 600 acres with softball, pony rides and tons of green beer. Relax and have a blast!
