International Drive Hotels

International Drive hotels offer a glimpse of "the rest" of Orlando for those of you who are tired of, or not interested in, Disney. International Drive hotels tend to be inexpensive and family-oriented; however, you can find luxury accommodations there as well. I-Drive is known as a local resort area and has a number of smaller attractions and shopping.

Staying on I-Drive during your trip offers a number of perks. First, you can often find free breakfast at these hotels. There is also transportation to the major theme parks. The I-Ride Trolley is a fun alternative to the Lynx system, and you will find brochures, maps, and coupons for area attractions and restaurants on the trolley as well.

International Drive Hotels Offer More for the Money

Instead of staying on-site at the theme park you are visiting, why not stay at International Drive hotels? There are over 100 comfortable hotels along the seven-mile stretch, ranging from budget to luxury, and you are within minutes of all of the theme parks. If you are tired of theme parks, stay on International Drive and visit any of the stadium-seated movie theaters, choose from three entertainment complexes, or eat at any of over 150 delicious restaurants.

One other advantage to these hotels is the Orange County Convention Center. It's the nation's second largest. So if you are in town on business, you'll be close to your convention during the day, and close to a world of Orlando attractions at night.
