So you've never been to Walt Disney World theme parks? Neither have I, officially, although I have stayed at the resorts and visited the parks during business trips. Here is a primer on the four Walt Disney World theme parks in the Orlando, Florida area.

Walt Disney World has something for everyone, whether you're looking for Walt Disney World theme parks, adventure, nature, or sports. The staff members, known as cast members, have a job: to make your stay there fun. They have great food for every diet available, and efficient transportation around the entire 47 square miles.

Walt Disney World Theme Parks Described

Disney's Magic Kingdom is the original WDW park, which opened in 1971. Here, you'll find adventure, fantasy, and science fiction. At Epcot Center, you'll see world culture and new technology in different exhibits. Disney Studios offers current TV and movie production as well as past films to enjoy. The newest park, Animal Kingdom, is a blend of nature, animals, and adventure.

In addition to the four Walt Disney World theme parks, there are also three water parks, a major sports complex, six golf courses, numerous shopping opportunities, and two other entertainment complexes for nightlife, more dining, and more shopping. So even if you aren't a fan of Mickey Mouse, staying at or near any of the WDW resorts will provide you with the vacation of your dreams, and a whole lot of fun, too!
