When most of us think of Disneyland and Disney World, we think of thrill rides, parades, cartoon characters, and good old-fashioned fun, but when you book a group vacation package, you get so much more. One of the best ways to reward students, athletic groups, church groups, or business associates is to provide them with Disney vacation packages.

If you're interested in booking a Disney vacation, it's a good idea to request a promotional DVD and an official vacation planning kit. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for special deals on resort hotel rooms. In addition, group members can save up to $25 per adult and $20 per child on park admission. If you're on a limited budget, one of the best ways to afford a Disney vacation is to book as a group.

Groups of eight or more people are eligible for special events called "Grand Gatherings." Some events include special dinners in restaurants throughout Epcot Center, a safari breakfast inside the park, and a fireworks display just outside the park. If you want to reserve tickets for these special events, you need to make reservations at least 90 days in advance. It's a good idea to check with travel associates to find out how many days in advance you need to cancel your reservation if you want to receive a full refund.

If you're planning a special event and you want to include Disney theme parks and Disney characters, you can make arrangements through Disney's official travel agency. You can reserve the Haunted Mansion for a Halloween party, host a Mardi Gras party at the clubs in Pleasure Island, or book a private group viewing of one of the many stage shows in the park.
