Big Island Golf

Since the big island is a prime vacation target, it can be a little frustrating to get a tee-time to hit some big island golf. If you plan your vacation well in advance, I suggest calling some of the links you'd most like to play and see how early you can set your times. The big island has some of the most beautiful golf in the world. Who wouldn't be fighting to book?

There are over 20 big island golf courses to choose from, but that doesn't mean they don't fill up quickly. If you find yourself stuck with no tee-time for the day and can barely keep from going nuts at that fact, pick up a brochure and set up some fun activities like scuba diving, a glass-bottom boat ride, hiking, fishing, or sailing. Keep yourself distracted until you can finally tee off.

Popular Big Island Golf Spots

Some of the best golf resorts in the whole wide world are sprinkled along the Kona Kahala Coast. Look into those and do a bit of research if you really want to make the most of your big island golf experience. If you're going to do it, do it right.

Resting on the big island is a golf course called Hapuna, which happens to be the home of Executive Women's Golf Association's Hawaii Chapter. I feel bad for the members of other chapters where there are no sandy white beaches, exotic colorful flowers, and people with great tans. I'd constantly be trying to figure out how I could become a member of Hawaii's chapter.
