The Kapalua golf course is made beautiful by its rainforest, pineapple fields, white beaches, clear ocean views, and ancient lava flows. Even if you're playing a round of golf that you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy, you can't help but feel a little more peaceful because of your surroundings. The natural beauty is a natural stress-reliever, which can come in handy depending on how your day is going.

Kapalua Golf Course--Three Courses to Choose

There are actually three separate golf courses that comprise Kapalua golf course collectively. This is ideal for people who can't get enough of the gorgeous scenery. You can play all three courses and absorb the natural beauty from every angle. As far as I'm concerned, I don't mind having my choice of three eye-pleasing courses with perfect weather. I just throw on my shorts, my shoes, and my hat, grab my clubs, and I'm a happy camper.

The first course, The Bay, is all my style. It's relaxed play in the tropical setting of Hawaii. Grab your clubs, your cart, and a soda and head out to play a game. If you don't do so well, it's okay, because you'll be too busy trying to name the native birds flying overhead to bemoan your lousy score. I don't mind playing the Village either, because it has some unbelievable panoramic views.

The Plantation is not quite for the golfer who wants a fun, relaxing game--this is the most challenging of the three. It's used for the PGA season-opener, the Mercedes Championship. Although this Kapalua golf course is difficult, it does boast views of the neighboring islands. If you're up for a challenge, this is the course for you.
