Koolau Golf Course

The Koolau golf course sits itself down on the island of Oahu. For those of you who like little facts and perhaps a challenge, this course has the highest slope rating in all of Hawaii. It's rated as the toughest course in America. If I were to play this monster, I'd be letting a lot of people play through, not to mention crying a lot.

With 18 holes and a par of 72, the Koolau golf course is carved out of a rainforest and runs through three climate zones. Anyone brave enough to attempt this beast is aptly advised to bring all the balls you can carry (I suggest a durable suitcase). Once you've exhausted that supply, make sure you've got a back up for the eighteenth hole. You'll see.

Only the Strong Survive the Koolau Golf Course

I know there are some adventurous souls out there who hear about the insane difficulty level of the Koolau Golf Course and get even more fired up to take it on. I just want to pass on some advice--hit straight. I know that sounds silly because it's a little obvious, but heed those words, my friend.

If you've chosen to accept the mission of this course, do not be surprised to find dead bodies along the way. These were the ones who thought they could make it if they just kept going. I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you on the other side.
