As is often the case with golf courses, the Makena Golf Club divides up its golfing options into the North and South Courses. This club is on the beautiful island of Maui which is just a moment's ride from the other islands, so don't cheat yourself by avoiding the Makena golf club just because you're staying on another island. Believe me, if you go home having not played at this club (especially if any of your friends have played it), you'll never hear the end of it.

The golf course at the Makena Golf Club is often described as having the best golfing weather in world, so I'm sure the clubhouse isn't doing so bad either. How many of you fanatics out there will play in all sorts of weather? Well, wouldn't it be fantastic knowing that whenever you play this course, you can wear slacks and a t-shirt and be perfectly comfortable all day? If you say no to that last question, we have to have a serious talk.

Makena Golf Club Goes Coastal

Makena's North Course was opened in 1993 with the intention of the designer for the course to contain no distractions except for what can be found naturally. All 1,800 acres are specifically designed to provide the most fulfilling golf experience you could want. Home of the Hawaii State Open, this Robert Trent Jones, Jr. course is well known for its amazing layout. If you're in the mood to relax, check out the clubhouse's outdoor terrace with room for up to one hundred people.

If you're traveling with friends, you can always arrange a golf clinic for your group. The Makena golf club professionals can help you work on your drive, your putting, or your short game. Private lessons are also available if you think you need the extra attention.
