Excalibur HotelWritten by adminThe Excalibur Hotel is a deluxe, 4,000-plus room resort located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The hotel was originally created by Circus Circus Enterprises, Inc., and cost between $260 and $290 million to make. As a gaming establishment, hotel rules state there must be at least one person over the age of 21 in each hotel room. There are four types of rooms offered at the Excalibur: Standard Kings, Standard Queens, Kings with a spa, and Parlor Suites. The Standard King room comes equipped with a king-sized bed in 351 square feet of space. The Standard Queen room is similar in size to the Standard King, but comes with two queen-sized beds instead. Although nearly identical to the Standard King room, the King Room with a spa contains a private Jacuzzi bathtub in the corner of the room. Finally, the Parlor Suites feature full living and dining areas, refrigerators, guest rooms, and a corridor leading to the master bedroom. In all of Excalibur's rooms, warm-toned decorating, televisions, telephones, and showers are standard. Entertainment at the Excalibur Hotel Other options include Thunder from Down Under, an Australian all-male revue, which stages dances every night except for Thursdays. Fantasy Faire Midway features two motion simulator rides in addition to a plethora of carnival games, and the Court Jester's Stage promotes a variety of free acts including jugglers and magicians. The majority of entertainment options at the Excalibur are open to both adults and children, with the exception of the Thunder from Down Under, where guests must be at least 21 years of age. Dining Options For lighter fare, the Roundtable Buffet offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, as well as a Sunday brunch. The Village Food Court contains most modern fast-food staples, including Subway sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza, and doughnuts. For those who need to eat in the middle of the night, the Sherwood Forest Café is the only 24-hour restaurant in the Excalibur Hotel. Although it is called a café, it is a full service eatery with several signature dishes. Business and Pleasure The Excalibur also provides services to wedding parties and businesses. For marriages, the Excalibur maintains its own private chapel, and can coordinate packages involving use of the chapel, rooms, and the salon. Reception services are also available by using one of the hotel's banquet rooms. These banquet rooms may also be used for businesses wishing to conduct meetings at the Excalibur. Nine rooms are available for usage, from a grand ballroom to a more intimate meeting room. A catering staff is on hand and has the ability to provide most types of meals, from breakfast buffets to full sit-down dinners.
