Reno Casino Hotels

One of the biggest attractions to Reno, Nevada is the gambling. It wouldn't be a viable vacation spot in Nevada if there wasn't the possibility of hanging in casinos all night and seeing shows you couldn't see anywhere else in the United States. Some people only visit Reno to do a little gambling. Perhaps it's just for fun and perhaps you're out to try to pay your rent this month.

Either way, it can be quite fun to stay at a casino hotel. If you plan to spend any of your nights at the slot machines, blackjack tables or roaming around the casinos listening to live bands, staying at the same hotel can be a good idea. You don't want to start having fun at one casino only to have to go half way across the city to get back to your hotel. Staying at the same hotel in which you choose to gamble is a safe idea.

If you happen to start winning some money, you also might find that you get certain upgrades to your room or meals. In addition, if you make Reno a yearly trip and stay at the same casino hotel, you will likely be eligible for free rooms down the line. It's just being smart. The casino hotels are also quite fun as they are generally themed and have a lot of action going on at all hours of the day and night.

Where to Stay

You have a whole host of choices when it comes to casino hotels. If you prefer great dining choices, consider the Peppermill. Not only does it have eight award-winning restaurants, MSN.com also named it one of the "Top 10 Casino Hotels in America." There are 14 themed bars and the best free Cabaret entertainment in Reno.
