Hotels In Bologna ItalyWritten by Blaire Chandler-Wilcox Hotels in Bologna Italy tend to be expensive and hard to come by. Though the low tourist scene in Bologna makes for a refreshing change of pace, the downside is that there just aren't many hotel designed for pleasure visitors. Most of the hotels in Bologna Italy are reserved for the trade show crowd, and are very, very expensive. Very popular as a convention site and trade center, trade show attendees typically book up all the rooms in town well in advance of each event. Trade shows are held in Bologna March through May, and September through December. During these times hotel charges go through the roof. More bad news: There are very few cheap hotels in Bologna Italy, and no conveniently placed campsites. It should also be noted that practically the entire city of Bologna takes August off for vacation. Should you find yourself there in the 9th month of the year, you'll find almost every door has a "closed" sign in its window.
