Tuscany Holiday Villas

The majority of people around the world take vacations during a holiday. This could be Christmas, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July or any time during the summer. Some people will coordinate their schedules so that they are in another country during a celebration or holiday specific to that country. For Italy, this could be something such as Carnivale.

Carnivale happens in February. It takes place in many different cities over a couple of nights. Everyone dresses up with crazy costumes and wild, beautiful and grotesque masks. There is music, dancing, drinking, singing and more. Some of the most memorable aspects of Carnivale are the floats. The floats are massive and created to poke fun at politics and celebrities.

Almost every person in the street either has a bag of confetti, foam or silly string with which he or she will surprise unsuspecting bystanders. If you're looking for a quiet, calm and orderly vacation, you might want to wait until Carnivale is over. Also, if you're looking for some gorgeous summer weather, February might not be your first choice of month during which to visit Italy.

Tuscany in Summertime

Whether you are a typically active person or not, you will not be able to help wanting to get outside as much as possible. The reason for this is the natural beauty that is Tuscany and its surrounding towns. In warm weather you can participate in such activities as horseback riding, taking walking tours or playing tennis, bocce or croquet. I also suggest carrying a camera with you. Pictures will never do justice to the area, but they'll serve as great reminders.
