Jamaica Hotels

Jamaica hotels are among the best in the world, and they have the awards and accolades to prove it. Since becoming a playground for Hollywood movie stars in the 1930s--Errol Flynn sailed the seas and partied on land--Jamaicans have become great hosts to rock stars and celebrities who expect the best in accommodations and cuisine. Being a tropical island with fabulous weather all year and stunning beaches and vistas doesn't hurt, either.

Although the temperature is always warm, there is the "rainy season" more or less from May to November. More than likely, visitors will have mostly sunshine even in this season because the rain only falls for a short time, usually in the late afternoon. These months coincide with the low season when hotels are less crowded.

Saving Money at Jamaica Hotels

By visiting Jamaica during this off season from May to November, you can save a lot of money, possibly 40 percent or more at certain hotels. Peak season brings hordes of tourists, both from cruise ships docked at Ocho Rios and from visitors booked at hotels all around the island. This high season runs generally from mid-December to mid-April, with Christmas and Easter weeks the most crowded.

Jamaica hotels have great all inclusive Jamaica vacations that are convenient and economical in that services and use of facilities are bundled into one prepaid package. Probably every provider of accommodations on the island has a website that will give details, or a toll-free phone number to call, about packages and off season discounts. If possible, consider booking stays at Jamaica hotels or renting Jamaica villas when fewer tourists are on the island so you can better experience the natural beauty of this Caribbean land.
