Luxurious Costa Rican Resorts

Costa Rican resorts offer lavish services and amenities to pamper those who want to spend time in one of the world's most lovely regions. Surrounded by luxurious furnishings and inspiring scenery, comforted by expert massages and fine cuisine, a guest cannot help but drift into contentment. One of many world-class resorts is found near the capital, San Jose.

Tara Resort is a mansion modeled after the plantation home in "Gone with the Wind." Gourmet meals with international cuisine are just one fine feature of this three-story, mountain mansion with a panoramic view of San Jose's valley. Near the base of Arenal Volcano is Tabacon Resort and Lodge, which soothes guests with the hot springs associated with the volcano. Swim up one of the warm, mineral rivers to the wet bar where you can order your favorite tropical drink!

Pacific Comforts

Several Costa Rican resorts are found along the Pacific coast. The Guanacaste area has more than its share of luxury accommodations. Paradisus Playa Conchal is 2,400 acres of alluring walkways, refreshing fountains, sparkling lakes, and lush, tropical gardens. The resort has a golf course, ten restaurants and bars, and a casino that stays open until dawn!

Flamingo Beach Resort is located in Playa Flamingo, which has a full-service marina that provides a safe haven for yachts and boats. Cala Luna has colonial-style bungalows and villas built with tropical, farm-grown hardwoods. Just steps from white-sand beaches, this is one of the most private Costa Rica resorts. To the south near Jaco is Los Suenos Marriott Beach and Golf Resort. Located on Herradura Beach, it encompasses the former site of a 1,000-acre ranch. One of many notable features is a full-service water sports complex where you can use kayaks and jet skis. Go online for information on all inclusive Costa Rica vacations.
