Tlaquepaque has been a popular Sedona AZ destination since its creation in 1973. Today, Tlaquepaque is home to dozens of shops, restaurants, galleries, and boutiques. If you love arts and crafts, photography, Native American pottery, handmade jewelry and the like, you'll find Tlaquepaque's 18 galleries of particular interest. This is the place to do all your holiday and gift shopping, as well as the place to find unforgettable mementos of your stay in Sedona.

Spending the Day at Tlaquepaque

Try to schedule at least a half day for this terrific shopping spot. Sedona is the kind of place that draws incredible artists from all over the country, and this is where many of them share their wares. Keep your energy up with food and drink from one of the many fine restaurants.

Sedona is the kind of holiday spot brimming over with activities. You could easily spend a week here and never do the same thing twice. There's world class golfing, hiking, wonderful jeep tours, hot air ballooning, and horseback riding. Take a dip in the pool at your hotel, or go for a sea weed wrap and hot stone massage at one of Sedona's many spas.

With all this activity, make sure you take time to enjoy the peace, quiet, and magnificent views. If you can, book your stay at a hotel or inn with killer views. The Red Rock formations are so spectacular, you'll want to be able to see them from your hotel room, patio or balcony.
