Gatlinburg Group Rentals

There are literally hundreds of rental cabins, chalets, and lodges in the Gatlinburg area. Most are privately owned and are operated by management companies. They range from budget to luxury, from one bedroom to cabins that can accommodate up to 40 visitors. The larger cabins and lodges are perfect for group functions such as church retreats, family reunions, and business team building retreats.

Renting Cabins

There are, of course, large hotels in and around the city, which is also home to a state-of-the-art convention center, but the larger cabins create a different experience. Instead of sticking people in individual hotel rooms, groups can enjoy the ambiance of a large house with bedrooms that are not created from a "cookie cutter" and decors that are as individual as each cabin's layout. Cabins can be viewed online using virtual tours, and most sites also offer availability and rate information. Reservations can be made online.

Each cabin has a great kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of room, enough bathrooms for everyone, king and queen beds, and bunk beds. There are fireplaces, big-screen televisions with satellite or cable connections, DVDs, and VCRs. Many cabins come with game tables, including pool tables, foosball, and ping pong. Also, many cabins have multi-person hot tubs and/or jacuzzis.

Surprisingly Affordable, Surprisingly Fun

The words "roughing it" do not apply to these cabins. They are wonderfully decorated, each with their own country look. Renters must provide their own food and cook meals; however, linens, trash bags, and more are provided. There is no "room service," but management companies try to address any guest concerns quickly during normal business hours. With incomparable mountain views through almost every window and from every porch, group rental cabins are a wonderful change of pace.
