Pigeon Forge rental chalets are ideally located only a few minutes from the city and just as close to dozens of attractions (including Dollywood). Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the beautiful city of Gatlinburg are only a few miles away as well. Beautifully decorated and loaded with features, these cabins can often be rented for what it would cost to stay in a good hotel for a night. They are great places from which to take day trips--you could hike incredible mountain trails, visit major attractions, shop, or attend the many festivals and activities available all year.

Chalet Rentals

Chalets are cabins designed with a Swiss flavor, featuring extended eaves and sloping roofs. They are ideally suited for mountain areas because the sloped roofs allow snow to fall off, and the eaves help to keep areas around the chalet clear of snow. Most of the ones in Pigeon Forge are privately owned and rented by management companies. Many of them are luxuriously decorated, usually in the modern country style, with fully equipped modern kitchens, televisions, and hot tubs.

They are great for couples, families, and groups and range in size from one bedroom up to about eight bedrooms, that can accommodate 26 people for family reunions or group retreats. In February every year, approximately 10,000 couples get married in the area and spend their honeymoons in luxurious cabins and chalets. There is something to do all year round, and much of the activity is family-oriented.

Renting a Chalet

Most of the chalets can be viewed by taking virtual tours online. That opportunity gives prospective vacationers the chance to select the chalet that best suits their needs. After selecting a chalet, visitors usually have the chance to find out if the chalet they want is available for the dates they want it. Many management agencies accept and encourage online reservations. Mountain views, quiet days, and exciting attractions make chalet vacations special.
