For those who are thinking about a quiet vacation getaway, renting a private cabin in the Gatlinburg area is one great choice. There are hundreds of cabins available all year round, ranging from one bedroom to up to eight bedrooms and accommodating up to 40 visitors. Many cabins are privately owned and are operated by local management companies that offer services to guests.

Private Luxury Cabins

Each of these cabins is unique with its own layout and beautiful, contemporary country decor. They generally come with beautiful kitchens, fully loaded with modern appliances, pots, pans, and dishes. Most have washers and dryers, and many have hot tubs or jacuzzis. Beds are usually king- or queen-sized. There are lots of televisions, fireplaces, porch swings, and picnic tables.

Visitors can hike mountain trails, swim, go horseback riding, spend a day fishing and grilling, or play a round or two of golf. Family-oriented attractions abound with places like Camp Thunder, the Mysterious Mansion, Ripley's Aquarium, the Gatlinburg Sky Lift, and Dollywood, all within a short drive. Exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park is another great option.

Cabin Rentals

Private cabins can be rented either by phone or online through local Gatlinburg management companies. Most of these companies offer virtual tours of the cabins they represent, so that vacationers can select just the right one. Prices start at around $150 per night for wonderful cabins, and rates vary by season. The mountain views from every window and porch are free!
