Pigeon Forge cabin rentals are great fun for families planning to spend several days in the town that Dolly built. Many Pigeon Forge rentals are located extremely close to the famous Dollywood amusement park. And since Pigeon Forge is such a woodsy paradise, one can be less than 10 minutes from the park, and yet be located in what feels like a pristine wilderness.

Pigeon Forge Cabin Rentals: Room to Run

There are many advantages cabins have over hotel and motel lodging, particularly for families traveling with children. After a day of sightseeing, shopping, roller coasters and tasty treats, most adults are ready to fall into bed, or at least into a comfy chair. However, kids tend to feel the excitement of the day much longer, and need room to play and burn off adrenaline.

Hotel rooms, even really nice ones, don't provide the room to play, indoors and out, that even basic Pigeon Forge cabins provide. Most cabins have multiple bedrooms, perfect for at least one adult to take a much needed break, while the kids play board games in front of the fireplace, or even throw the ball around outside.

Most cabins will have at least some private outdoor space, perfect for kids to blow off steam. There's plenty of room to play softball, leapfrog--or in some cases, even splash around in the pool. And, when the little ones are tuckered out, and the grownups are now refreshed, multiple bedrooms--with multiple doors to shut--means that the kids can take well needed naps, while the grown ups enjoy well-needed couple time in front of the fire.
