Residents of Branson, Missouri have a saying that goes, "If you can't find it in Branson, it probably doesn't exist." Most hotels in this resourceful city charge only $50 to $80 per night. For such a nominal cost, visitors really do have a wide variety of entertainment options from which to choose.

Popular Attractions in Branson

Branson theater companies treat visitors to world-class performing arts, including comedy, musicals, and drama. As of October 2004, Andy Williams and Ann Margaret are performing together in Branson. Several oldies-themed musicals are out as well, including Hits of the Sixties and 50s at the Hop. Artists from around the globe perform in a play called Acrobats from China. At any given time, there are literally dozens of shows in Branson.

People who enjoy shopping on vacation will find fashionable-and discounted-clothing at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Branson. People can also shop for collector's items at a store called Victorian Village. At the Engler Block, shoppers can buy things that haven't yet been made. They request products, and woodworkers handcraft them on the spot.

Branson visitors can enjoy water sports and cruises on one of the city's many lakes, like Table Rock Lake or Lake Taneycomo. People frequently swim and fish in these waters. There are few cities in the Midwest that feature so many urban attractions and outdoors activities at the same time.
