The best China travel unfolds over the course of a two to three week trip. The size of the country coupled with the length of the main flight abroad necessitates a good amount of travel time in order for visitors to profit. Anything less than a few weeks, and you are bound to feel overwhelmed and rushed.

For most people visiting China, travel represents the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. They have spent endless hours reading about various dynasties, researching key landmarks, and envisioning the details of the trip. Clearly, it takes many things to bring these dreams to fruition, most notably time.

Leisurely China Travel
Like the country itself, China's major landmarks tend to be sprawling exhibits that require some time to process fully. The Great Wall and the famed Silk Road are not places you can digest during a quickie visit. Rather they require time, patience, and perspective to appreciate.

Your best bet for China travel is to plan on spending at least three weeks abroad. This allows for the two to three days that will be lost in travel to and from the country, and for time to recover from jetlag. To make the most of your vacation, you must be able to explore at a relaxed pace that allows you to appreciate all the country has to offer.
