Ocean Shores Horseback Riding

You haven't seen the city of Ocean Shores until you've tried Ocean Shores horseback riding. Everything looks a little different from the perspective of a horse's back. Some of the best horseback riding can be found at Ocean City State park. This beach park is several miles long and offers more than ten access points. It is possible to rent horses to ride along the beach, just not in the dunes or on the soft sand.

Last time I rented a horse and rode on the sand was many years ago in the North West of England. I thought the horse was a little on the lazy side as it ambled extremely slowly along the coastline. I was frustrated because I could have walked quicker. However, once I signaled to the horse that it was time to turn around and go home, you would think we were racing in the Grand National.

It was all I could do to hold on to the horse's main and I squeezed as hard as I could with my thighs. We were galloping so quickly, my hair was blown straight out behind me and was being pulled so hard, I thought it would fall out. The horse was on the final stretch, and little did I know how final the stretch would be. As the horse turned right, I thought we were turning left, and I ended up in a very sorry pile in the sand. I didn't see the horse again. Hopefully you'll have as much fun as I did when you try Ocean Shores horseback riding.
