No. While a small amount of grapefruit is not toxic, it is not advised to offer it as a treat. Grapefruit can be very difficult for your pup’s gut causing gastrointestinal distress. If your pup gets into some of the fruit, monitor your dog for adverse reactions. 

If your dog ingests part of the grapefruit peel, this can be toxic to your dog. Oils in the peel can be very harmful to pups. Additionally monitor your dog for choking or internal blockages if they ingest any seeds. This is especially a risk for small dogs. 

If you suspect your dog has consumed grapefruit, seeds or the peel and presents any adverse reactions contact a vet immediately.
