Dogs may eat honey in small quantities. However, condiments like honey mustard are best avoided as they contain sugar.

Small quantities of honey mustard are okay – for example, your dog might have gobbled up some chicken coated in a bit of honey mustard sauce or it might have licked a small dollop of the sweet sauce from your plate.

Since honey mustard offers no health benefit to dogs, it may be best not to feed this sweet sauce to your pet.
