What is It?
Epilepsy is a neurological disease where a sudden increase of electrical activity in the brain causes seizures.

What Are The Symptoms?
- Uncontrolled movements
- Staring blankly
- Stiff legs
- Chattering jaws
Is it Life Threatening?
Yes. Grand mal seizures or cluster seizures can be fatal.
How is It Diagnosed?
Epilepsy is diagnosed only once all other sources of seizures have been eliminated. A veterinarian would perform a physical exam, a medical history questionnaire, blood and urine tests, x-rays.
Follow up imagine and further tests may be required.
What Are The Treatments?
Anti-seizure medication and CBD treatments are available for dogs.
