Yes dogs can eat salmon, but there are a few conditions. 

Salmon have lots of tiny bones. You must remove all of these as they can get lodged in your pup’s throat, or caught further down the digestive tract. Removal could require surgery.

Salmon must be cooked before given to your pup. Salmon may contain the parasite Neorickettsia helminthoeca. When ingested it can develop into salmon poisoning disease which can be fatal.
