Yes dogs can eat fully cooked bread in moderation. Just like with humans, bread should not be the main focus of your dog’s diet. Occasionally having a bit of plain bread as a treat is okay.
Flavored breads should be avoided depending on ingredients. Bread with raisins are a no for dogs as they cannot eat raisins. Additionally herb bread should be avoided as dogs cannot tolerate human seasonings.
Garlic is toxic to dogs, so garlic bread is a no. Bread with nuts in it should also be avoided as dogs cannot eat several varieties of nuts.
Be sure the bread you are offering to your dog does not have any artificial sweeteners, including xylitol which is toxic to dogs.
