As a reward for being such a fun helper, can you offer some ginger to your pup?

Yes. Ginger can be given to your dog in moderation. Ginger’s healing and health boosting effects have been widely studied in humans. The proof for dogs comes from anecdotal evidence. Many owners offer their pups small amounts of ginger to aid digestive issues, to treat joint pain with anti-inflammatory properties, and to stimulate circulation. 

Your pup can have ginger raw peeled, and grated or sliced very thin, powdered, or even juiced. The amount you can give to your dog correlates to their size. Small dogs should not be offered more than ¼ tsp and large dogs no more than ¾ tsp of ginger per day.
