Yes…. but only give your dog plain yogurt without any additives. You are okay to add a little honey on top of your yogurt. But do not give your dog yogurt that already has sweeter added. Xylitol is a sugar substitute that is extremely toxic to dogs.

Like all human food, yogurt should only be given to your pup as a treat. Yogurt is high in fat and adding fat to your pup’s diet can lead to obesity or even pancreatitis. 

Additionally Greek yogurt has lower lactose and therefore is easier for some dogs to digest. Like humans, some dogs are lactose intolerant. If this is the first time you are offering your dog dairy, give your pup a little and then monitor him for digestive symptoms, which may include vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, or abdominal pain.
