If you are considering offering your dog store bought applesauce be aware of the ingredients. Added sugar is not something you should be offering your pup. Excess sugar leads to weight gain, obesity and diabetes. If you choose a sugar free store bought applesauce always avoid applesauce with xylitol. Even in very small amounts xylitol consumption can be fatal.
